Things at The Top of The Music Division in My Brain as of June 23
What a great album. I’ve had this album on repeat for 4 days. It just keeps me cranking through my work. I’ll tell you one thing though, I wish I could have gotten that first line from Ace of Base - would have left me a tad bit more satisfied.
2. Amy Winehouse… sad, sad, sad
Winehouse is a nut. Her dad is talking about the possibility of emphysema. She also reportedly has an irregular heartbeat. All this is from crack cocaine and drugs. Sad because she can’t get a handle on herself. Atleast she’s going to be performing for Nelson Mandela’s birthday, and maybe if she’s moving around she’ll be clean. Talk about someone who needs some help.
A band from New York called Creaky Boards is saying that Coldplay has stolen ideas from them. The singer from Creaky Boards said that he saw Chris Martin at a performance of theirs, and he is claiming that Martin used the song to influence the hit Viva La Vida. Check it out for yourself.
